Android Introduction

Globally, the Android operating system has the greatest installed base of any mobile platform. In more than 190 countries worldwide, Android powers hundreds of millions of mobile devices. By the end of 2021, it had almost 71% of the global market share, and this tendency is just becoming stronger every other day. First created on a modified version of the Linux kernel and other open-source software, Android was developed by Open Handset Alliance. Google funded the initiative in its early phases and bought the entire business in 2005. The first Android-powered gadget hit the shelves in September 2008. Android’s extensive feature set contributes to its dominance in the mobile operating system market. It’s easy to use, has a strong community behind it, offers more customization options, and many businesses manufacture cellphones that work with Android. Android Training Introduction
